Peter Zhang, CEO
Peter Zhang is the Chairman and CEO of the Chinese American Business Development Center, which focuses on connecting Chinese and American companies in successful partnerships. Currently, Mr. Zhang is leading CABDC in analyzing new markets for American and Chinese entrepreneurs. Recent projects include promoting the New Jersey Nets basketball team within the New York metropolitan Chinese market and establishing a profitable network for American Universities in China.
Mr. Zhang also has significant experience with correspondent banking, having established several profitable interactions between American and Chinese banks. He has served companies such as Western Union, Abacus Federal Saving Bank, and Asia Bank in the United States, as well as Agricultural Bank of China and China Construction Bank Based on CABDC’s service provisions, Agricultural Bank of China’s annual remittance business increased by over 300 millions dollars.
Mr. Zhang serves as the president of Sino-American Culture & Arts Foundation as well as a co-founder of the U.S-China Friendship Association. He promotes cultural and arts exchange between the United States and China. For over 20 years, Mr. Zhang has served in many charities including those that help minorities, assist in child adoption, and provide support for survivors of the Sichuan, China earthquakes.
